Girls Camp!!

I'm behind on posting. It's been a crazy month or two, so I'm just going to do some quick posts to catch up.

I was lucky enough to stay in Miami long enough to go to girls camp, before we moved back to Utah. Marc finished his job here right before camp so he could come to camp for the whole week, then on a cruise for a week, and now we're on a three week road trip moving back to Utah. Here's a summary of camp.

We stayed at Camp Owaissa Bauer in Homestead for camp. We had little dorm style rooms for our ward, which was air conditioned- thank goodness!

We had 13 girls, myself, and 3 other leaders who switched throughout the week.
The stake relief society did a fun night for the girls. They brought in black lights and paint for the girls to decorate themselves.

One of the girls decorated my shirt with my babies foot prints :)

The girls on a hay ride through the park.

Two of our leaders (Bianca and Andrea) and one of our girls who came!

Our girls made up a fun camp song to a medley of Frozen songs and performed it.
 They did a great job!

The stake leaders also did a great song- Tonya's rapping was a huge favorite among everyone! :)
Marc made a great debut with the priesthood leaders song of Don't Mess with the Best.

The girls also did a skit of princesses in group therapy. It was super cute, and they looked fantastic in all their princess costumes.

The girls also did a fun mock disaster to practice their first aid skills. It was pretty legit.

A last picture to end a fun and eventful week. We are just missing one girl who had to go home the night before to visit sick relatives in Columbia. So this pictures 12 girls, me, and the third leader who camp up, Damaris. The cool shirts were made for us and donated by another leader (Bianca)'s husband. Thanks Nick!! I will miss these girls, it was fun to be their leader- even if it wasn't very long. I wish them a great time with a new wonderful yw president- yay Damaris!
