Our family friend Dani with Lemon Lily Photography took her one year old pictures for us. She did a great job, even though Kendra was a little tired she got lots of smiles out of her! The balloons were a big hit, and the cake was... investigated with caution. She did get a little messing and eat some frosting, but mostly she would stick one finger in and eat the frosting off of it, and then stick it in again.
Since the last post up until her birthday she had her first Halloween, which she LOVED. She has a crazy sweet tooth, (which I guess shouldn't surprise us).
We met up and Marc's grandma's house with Kendra's grandparents and Wonder Woman and Superman to start our day of trick or treating.
These cute cousins are still investigating each other.
Until WABAM, he toppled over onto her. "What's this, a head in my lap. What do I do with a head in my lap?!"
I decided to make costumes for the first time ever, so we went with a real simple Flintstones. Kendra has a perfect ponytail for Pebbles. Of course I had the perfect little plastic bone for her hair, and she played with it and it disappeared before we made it to Halloween. She recently took up throwing things into the trash and I think that may have been one of those things.
"What is it?"
"It's a bird." "It's a plane." "It's SUPERMAN!"
From there we went to a trunk or treat at the park by my mom's. We met up with more cousins!
A stylish Astrid and Hiccup still working on training their dragons.
And they didn't dress for the occasion, but Rapunzel and Flynn were also there.
Along with a bat and his ground crew. There were some more cute cousins, but they took off before we could get their picture.
She loved the trick or treating part! She took almost all of the candy out of the bowl herself and couldn't get over the fact that everyone had some they were offering her. And she wasn't getting in trouble for taking it!
Ah the sweet loot!
This is the same dress I wore for my 18 month pictures. I think it's still a little big for her :) I think even with her blond hair she might have some of my looks!
She started some yoga, to prepare for her walking. She took her first steps this month!
She's growing attached to this little dolly.
Not so much of this snow outfit though! She went out and played in the snow, which she found very interesting, but not particularly fun since she had to bundle up.
This was so cute. They started playing a duet, then her cousin (whose dad plays the drums) grabbed the drums and started playing while Kendra kept it up on the piano.
Just throwing this in her to remind us that she still has CRAZY hair!
Birthday time! We had a little party at our house with Marc's parents.
She loved opening presents and figured it out very quickly.
I just made her some simple cupcakes and she destroyed hers! Yes the cake is purple,
She got a second birthday at my mom's, with some cousins.
Who were very helpful with presents.
And with the cake.
We she once again devoured. "I don't know what this is, but presents and cake everyday is my kinda thing!"

The shirt in that last picture is super cute!! She is growing so fast, and is incredibly cute. I can't wait to see you guys hopefully soonish! -Janet
