5, 6, Lots of Pics!

I missed month five, and here we are already to six months!

So the pictures aren't perfect for comparing her growth, but you can sure tell she's changed over the last six months! She has sure been fun to have around. Although she hasn't figured out how to sleep through the night yet... that will be a great day! She has learned lots of things though.

She can sit up very well for long periods of time. She started sitting by herself right as she hit five months.

She can stand by herself as long as she has something really sturdy to hold. She's still mastering this, so I stick around pretty close.

She's made a good choice in her favorite sport :)

She talks, laughs, and smiles lots! She loves attention. She stares down everyone until they give her a smile, and then she gives them a big one back. We sat by another baby at church and anytime someone talked to that lady Kendra would lean closer and closer just staring at them until they would acknowledge her.

I love how she watches dad and laughs after he laughs!

The doctor says she's healthy, and still tall and skinny. Here are her six month stats:

Height: 27 in. 89.7%
Weight: 14 lb. 13 oz 25.5%
Head: 42 cm

Don't be fooled because she is so little, she LOVES eating!!
I can't get it in fast enough. She's even started snacking on the little puff cereal snacks. She's getting pretty good at chewing with her little gums.

The last two months have been pretty busy. My mom graduated from college with an Elementary Education bachelor's degree. We are so proud of her! She even has a job teaching fourth graders next year. They will love her.

We celebrated be throwing her a surprise graduation party on her birthday. Almost all my dad's siblings made it, including my aunt from Texas, as well as my mom's sister and mom. It was such a good time, and she was surprised for sure! Too bad my sister threw her arms up when we yelled surprise... ;)
We didn't get pictures of everyone, but here's a few:

Weird it seems these all seem to have Kendra too...

That same sister also had a baby this month (as you can tell from the above picture, which I'm sure she'll love). She birthed a beautiful baby boy and we're excited for Kendra to meet him soon!

She did get to meet one of her three baby cousins on Marc's side. Two of the ninja turtles unite! We are excited to get all four together sometime!

Kendra wasn't really in the posing mood...

She also got to meet their dog, and their dog sure gave her some loving! She got lots of doggie kisses since they were eye level with each other.

We got to have another graduation party, but this time with her uncle who just finished his doctorate program in medicine. Kendra dressed up for the party.

We even got to watch him burn his old medical student coat!

My Uncle and Aunt in England are working on a machine that takes pictures and turns them into drawings. They took one of Kendra's pictures and turned it into a giant drawing for us. We think it turned out pretty great!
Marc bought a bunch of smaller frames and cut it up to fit in the frames.
Kendra loves to look at it in her room!

You can watch the machine on this link. It's pretty cool how it works.

Grandma and Grandpa with two of the new grandbabies. I like how Kendra looks at him crying like, "What are you doing?!? That's my thing!"

And our favorite time, time with Daddy!!
I love these two together. Can you tell where she gets her coloring from?

Told you it was lots of pics! :)
