Four Months Already!?!?

Well I better blog four months before she hits her five month mark... so here it goes!

The doctor said we have a tall, skinny baby who is healthy and progressing well. Her four month stats are:

Height: 25 in (71.47 percentile)
Weight: 13 lb 6 oz (30.8 percentile)
Head: 41 cm

She is a mover and an eater!

She LOVES eating! She watches us so hard while we're eating, that we had to try giving her some baby food. We can't spoon it in fast enough. We even gave her an orange to suck on and she loved it so much I had to watch carefully to make sure she wasn't sucking more than juice out of it.
She seems to love everything we've let her try so far.

She does not hold still! She likes to be up and part of the action. She can take some steps on her own if you hold her hands, she can almost sit up by herself now, and she loves jumping in her little hanging jumper. She will just jump and jump until she wears herself out, usually with a big smile.

She also really enjoys being outside, especially on grandma's swing. We're going to have to figure something out for her vampire like white skin.

She is lucky to have lots of cousin! On Marc's side she has three new cousin who have been born in the last couple months. Unfortunately, they are spread out a little bit and she hasn't been able to meet them yet. So here is her picture awaiting her cousins :)

My cousin, who is just two weeks older than me, had a baby six days before Kendra came. Here they are watching family playing basketball together.

She's lucky to have her cousins on my side close by. They were able to have a fun Easter egg hunt at my mom's house.

And apparently she has a great grumpy old lady face.

Uncle Jason even brings his puppy to lick her head lovingly. She's handled that pretty well.

Her cousins are so good to her!
Here they are reading with daddy.

We helped my mom with science project for her college class by making and throwing paper airplanes. (Tough isn't it?!) And her cousins came to play with her in her exersaucer and give her hugs.

We're pretty proud of mom for going back to school and getting a teaching degree. She finishes this spring after four hard years. But mostly we're proud of her because, well, look at her pro airplane throwing skills!

Daddy's not too bad at it himself!
(though I made the airplane, so I guess I have some skills myself!)

and I wasn't the only one with great airplane making skills.

You could say we're a family of professional paper airplane making and throwing,
and we take it pretty seriously :)

Kendra also got to participate at this years annual Fletcher April Fools Dinner. This is one of the highlights of my year. They cook up a delicious menu, and then theme it and make up code names for everything. We get to order off the menu with code menu for several different courses. I started off better this year with a utensil for me first course. But there were some pretty messy courses after that without utensils though.

We had a great Easter weekend with our families, and Kendra is one lucky girl with such great family.
She sure loves her grandmas,

and her daddy!
She always get a great big smile when he comes home and plays with her.

Her aunt got her this great ninja turtle outfit to match all of her new cousins.

And here she is in her Easter outfit after church. She was being ornery because she needed a nap. But I wanted to take a picture before I took it off. As soon as she saw my camera she stopped fussing and smiled for it. What a funny girl! :)
