We got lots of fun wedding gifts, which we unfortunately had to leave at my mom's house until we get settled into a more permanent place. When Marc's parents drove out last weekend, they were good enough to load a bunch of these gifts with them. Shout out to Clay for having to squish for a long drive next to these, thanks again! One of the things they brought was a pasta maker. I have never made pasta from scratch, so this was a fun new experiment.
Making the dough,
then we put it into the play-doh like machine,
and after putting it in a couple times and lessening the thickness level, it comes out nice and flat.
We let it dry for a little bit, and then we put it through the cutter.
Here is a sample of the fettuccine and spaghetti cut pasta drying.
The pasta maker came with a Fettuccine Alfredo recipe we tried.
And we're finished! It was pretty delicious, if I say so myself :)
