Three Months until a Year!

Some days it feels that nine months has flown by, and other days it seems like Kendra has always been here with us. Every day is full of changes and learning though. This month she has mastered the crawl (though it's her own version, she keeps one leg crossed as if she were sitting and drags that leg, while pushing off with the other foot). She will follow me wherever I go now. Gone are the days of setting her down and coming back to her there. She still loves eating, though she much prefers taking foods to feed herself. Her spot in the kitchen gets messy fast! She has learned how to mimic the kissing noise, and so when I kiss her head she will kiss back. It's adorable! She says momma all the time, and I think she's starting to connect it. She says dadda, but it's not quite as frequent yet. But she LOVES her dadda. She always tries to go out the door with him, and doesn't want to let him leave. When I am holding her and saying goodbye to Marc, she lunges out of my arms toward him. Then when I try to take her back, she hides her head and snuggles him closer. Oh, and she's a dancer. Any time music starts to play, even if it's just that I start humming the stupid songs that the toys get stuck in my head all day, she starts bobbing up and down to the beat. She has some pretty good rhythm too!

Here's a little bit about her physical growth:
Weight: 16 lbs 9 oz (21%)
Height: 29 inches (91%)
Head: 44cm
More on her later...

My cousins who have been living in England came for the summer. We were able to have a good time with them and most of my mom's family. Here's our big family picture :) There are a couple people missing, but here's the majority of us.
So Kendra was actually looking in most of the pictures... but this is the one with everyone else looking. Well, except the dog.

Dunn Family Reunion- Star Valley Wyoming
We had a great time with lots of my mom's family at a cabin up in Wyoming. We got to go river rafting and to Bar J Wranglers in Jackson Hole. Which I don't have many pictures of, but I have lots of other pictures.
Cousin love!

There's a little pond behind the cabin. It was a big hit with the kids.

We did a little geocaching the led us around the area and on a beautiful hike.

Running for the cache
Hiking for the next cache

with determination!

Kids loved the water

and I guess the momma's did too.

and we wore out this little miss. She seemed to love it, although she kept pulling off her hat and throwing it onto the trail.

The cabin is on a golf course (hence the pond) So there was some golfing.

 and fishing
I guess we only had video's, not pictures. But Jason came and got everyone to start catching fish!

At Jackson Hole. What a pretty cousin!

My siblings meeting up at the park. Yeah, it's a paparazzi shot.

Back at the pond we had some deer come to visit.

A momma and her two babies.

Me and my baby. I love how she clasps her hands!

And some random pictures of the night.

Now we're back to this cutie. She is always on the move. But we caught her taking a breather.

Having some time with the guys.

But a girl's gotta get herself ready for the day. (She has all three of our toothbrushes)

Getting ready for bed with daddy,

and getting dressed with daddy.

She had to say goodbye to her closest cousin in age. They moved to Texas, and we will miss them. If you're reading this, you should probably start your own blog so we can see her :)

Kendra didn't want to put her legs into the holes, so one leg got stuck. She thought it was so fun to play with and eat.

We went to the Davis County fair, which was pretty cool because it had a tiger and elephant shows. (Not together though...)

It was pretty cool what the tigers would do.

Some of the cousins even got to ride an elephant!

There was a petting zoo that Kendra really liked. Until the animals scared her. Now she has suddenly developed a phobia of animals that we need to get her over.

Bad hair day!

She loves eating, so I peeled this apple-pear thing and let her gnaw on it. Then it was gone and I found it put right back away with the other fruits.

She loves to eat, and finger paint. Every time food drops onto the tray she is immediately finger painting with it. So I gave her pudding.

I think that pretty much sums up our month. That and this picture of cookies that turned out to be the best cookies I think we've ever baked :)
