Stop 10: Last Stop: Utah!!

This has been the LONGEST travel log- I know! But as my journal I really wanted to record all the sights and adventures along our journey. It seems unlikely that we will be taking another 3 week-cross country road trip for awhile. So here is the end!

After about three weeks of driving and way too many bathroom breaks for this pregnant lady to count, we made it to Utah!

St. George welcomed us with the promise of too many temples along the way to stop and visit. As well as with the beautiful red rock of southern Utah.

We decided to take a drive up to one of my favorite places in Southern Utah (Kolob Canyon). It's pretty in the day time, but try a night hike to look at the stars and it's like floating through the galaxy.

It wouldn't be a national park without an Asian tour bus now would it?

It's just so beautiful!

We tried to have a picnic at the provided picnic tables along the trail. But the tables were under siege from very large ants and we decided it really killed the moment- so we finished our lunch in the car...

I love the red road that blends a little better with the surrounding nature.
Since we were ready to finish this trip, we didn't take too many stops- so there are a lot of pictures here :)

We had a lucky feather blow in the window and land on the keys!

On the road again! It feels good to be on such a familiar road!
Except wait! This just popped up out of nowhere- which was not familiar. So we stopped to visit this new Payson temple. Such a pretty place!

We stayed the night with Marc's sister and husband- Thanks Wendy and Dustin for letting us crash!! (We just didn't take any pictures there), so the next picture is:
Ahhh, good ole' Brigham City!! It feels good to be home!
